Dr. Daniel Höche is the Head of the Department Interface Modelling at the Institute of Surface Science at the Helmholtz-Zentrum hereon GmbH.
He was Interims Professor for Computational Material Design at the HSU in Hamburg and Group Leader at the HZG.
In 2008 he received his PhD in Physics at the Georg-August Universität Göttingen. His work is dedicated to Digitalisation of Corrosion and Surface Science, and contributes to the Helmholtz research program in Germany.
Besides, he is involved in several national and international third-party and industrial projects and active at the EU level, in EMMC and RFCS, national at DGM and GfKorr, as well as in the Helmholtz-Incubator.
